Uttoxeter Town Council is delighted to announce that the refurbishment work has commenced on Uttoxeter Town Hall, modernising and improving the building to bring it back to its former glory.
The refurbishment works will, with the addition of a lift, allow access for all to the Alan Dean suite, and the redecoration will be sympathetic to the heritage of the building.
The works will be completed in time for The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations where the Town Hall will be the focal point of the Town’s celebrations. A Jubilee Party in the High Street will be held on Sunday, 3 June 12.00 noon until 2.00 pm for local children to attend (12 and under) and a Jubilee Night at the Proms to be held at 7.00 pm in the newly refurbished Town Hall.
