The elections are scheduled to take place on 2 May 2019.
Prospective candidates, be they serving Councillors or not, should familarise themselves with the election procedures and reconfirm their elegibiliity to stand.
If a current Councillor is proposing to stand again next year they need to remember that to become nominated as a candidate they will need to submit a completed set of nomination papers to the Returning Officer at ESBC by 4pm on the 19th working day before the poll; the arrangements for delivery will be confirmed by the Council concerned in due course- (East Staffordshire Borough Council).
