Cycle Festival 2016 – Sunday, 3 July 2016

The Cycle Festival will take place on Sunday, 3 July 2016 commencing from Shugborough, near Stafford to Uttoxeter and return to Shugborough.

Uttoxeter Town Council’s Town Hall Entertainments Committee along with former Mayor, Councillor Martin Blencowe, have organised various events to take place within Uttoxeter throughout the day to entertain the crowds as the cyclists travel through.

The Uttoxeter Town Brass Band will be performing and entertaining the crowd as will the Uttoxeter Morris Men which will be a wonderful spectacle of music and dance.

A cake stall will be sited within the Market Place for visitors to purchase a sweet treat and various food stalls will also be available to feed the hungry spectators as they eagerly await the arrival of the cyclists.

To ensure the safety of all spectators there will be a road closure in place for Market Place, Market Street and Carter Street between 10am – 2.30pm.

Uttoxeter is delighted to welcome the Cycle Festival and anticipates a large number of visitors to Uttoxeter on the day to cheer on the participants of this fantastic race.
